Had a very basic machine from another company and paid about the same price. The amount of featues this one as compared to the other is incredible. There are various components in a karaoke system and it’s helpful to get your head around what each bit does. Active speakers generally have a plug and do not require a separate amplifier. To connect to these, please strip the yellow cable from your RCA leads (red white and yellow cables). Ensure the yellow cable is connected from the karaoke machine to the TV. Connect the red and white cables to the active speakers. Very impressed with the quality of the karaoke player. Not over keen on having to change the discs but its still good fun for me and the family. If you’re looking for some inspiration for your parties, why not bring people together with one of the best karaoke machines out there? Sure, you may think you’re going to embarrass yourself, but just think of the videos you willl be able to get of your friends putting on a show after they’ve had a few too many. Even if i'm not doing karaoke, i just use it to play music from my phone using the bluetooth as i have speakers connected to my karaoke machine.

I would reccomend this machine to anyone, it was very easy to set up and use, and the kids love it. Can't wait for the family to come over at xmas. There are a couple of singers in the family too so should be great! very good machine - had to refer to their video once or twice but I got there. A word of caution don't run through a cinema system there's a 2 second delay between the singing and the music nothing to do with the machine it's the way they're making tellys now a days the problem is the tv tries to convert the sound signal to a format it can recognise - hence the delay you can use a sound bar or hi fi speakers no problems there.. Love it! Not many machines around that have 4 microphones inputs as standard feature. Lods of other features too. To take your performance up a notch, the Vocal Star Big Gig Karaoke Machine and Speaker Set includes 2 microphone stands, ensuring you sing and look the part.We play karaoke music via the discs mainly but bluetooth is good as there are songs we like that we can't get on disc that are online to stream. Some good functions. We play karaoke music via the discs and just use the bluetooth function to play music through the machine. It's a good all in 1 player.

A good tip is that you can control the volume and turn it up louder from the device connected to the Karaoke Player. Vocal Star players will not play MP4. It will play most AVI formats, but some still will not work depending on how they have been formatted or what type of AVI file they are. Bought this machine to replace our old Mr.Entertainer machine and i am very happy. It as all the functions I need and more! Recording feature is good and clear. The scoring feature is also very fun when people come round. If you don’t relish the thought of scrabbling around with cables figuring out what goes where, an all-in-one system keeps things simple. Some machines will only require a TV to plug into and some even have screens built in – although the lyrics will be easier to read on a telly. Hopefully your microphones should now appear much louder compared to the music, you can keep adjusting the music, microphone & TV volumes to get the perfect balance between all three. Also ensure you are holding the microphones close to your mouthThat’s fine if you’re happy to use the karaoke videos on YouTube – search for the name of a song followed by “lyrics” or “karaoke” and you will probably find something suitable. The quality can vary, though, and every now and then you might end up accidentally watching a video of some random people at a karaoke bar. Increase the volume on your TV, you may have to turn it up higher than you normally would to allow for the reduced music volume level on the Player.
