Drawing in consumers from both the standard and premium segments, by either being a craft product or of better value.It's a great story, and a killer pub fact, but what you probably don't know is that they also have an entire spirit dedicated to their brave deeds.

This Kazakhstan vodka is named after the world's first cosmonauts, two dogs who were launched into space from Baikanur in Kazakhstan.

Also joining the portfolio is Il Dottore gin, inspired by Venetian doctors battling the black plague with gin-based remedies. The White Russian was first mixed up back in 1949 when Gustave Tops, a Belgian bartender, dreamt up two luxurious cocktails, the Black and the White Russian. Their journey paved the way for further exploration and, without their help, the Soviets wouldn't have been able to take the next step and send Yuri Gagarin – the world's first astronaut – up into the deep dark depths of space just one year later. This triple distilled vodka is made in Kazakhstan with the same heroic spirit as the brave space dogs.

This dynamic duo of dogs ventured out into space aboard the Sputnik 5 back in August 1960, orbiting Earth 18 times before safely landing. The long connection between the Royal Navy and rum can be traced back to 1655 and Vice-Admiral William Penn's expedition to the West Indies.

Belka and Strelka orbited the earth 18 times aboard Sputnik 5 on 19th August 1960 before landing safely back on earth as canine heroes. After establishing the origin of this vodka’s story we wanted to create a design that would stand out from its comrades.
