I was expecting the plot to be repetitive at times with the same timeline but also wanted a new storyline with having new characters.I wanted to get everything she wanted in the world, I wanted her to murder everyone who wronged her and who hurt her and who tried to eliminate her. He squeezed my throat as he kissed me, his nails digging into my skin, far sharper than I’d expected.

I thought the smut in book one was dirty but boy I was not prepared for this one here… it definitely hit different! Makes me want to get me a hot and sexy demon of my own, like where can I get one that’s as obsessed with me as Leon is with Rae and Zane is with Juniper? This book is fantastic, it's wonderful, the spice is so damn good and I want to watch Juni and Zane forever!

I've said it in my review of HSTT that I admire Harley Laroux for her boldness in this area, although she tends to repeat herself. Even tho the pacing was a bit slower at moment and we did have some repetitive dialogue that irritated me a little, it wouldn't have ruined this story for me if it wasn't already. Juniper has been running for her life for years, but when she hears the news of her brother's murder, she goes back to that little town that hurt her the most.
